Mandatum Life Services Ltd and the Finnish software company Zapflow have agreed on collaboration through which Finnish private equity investors will be offered a digital ecosystem for managing investment operations.
The service, called Zapflow by Mandatum Life, will consist of a digital tool facilitating the management of investments and deals, and of the communication and bidding functionality to be built around it. The tool will enable the management of the entire investment process, from exploring target companies to concluding and managing contracts, all the way to portfolio and investor reporting. Through the bidding functionality, investors can search for expert partners required at the various stages of investment operations.
“Zapflow has an excellent digital platform for managing private equity investment operations, which has been used by both Finnish and international customers for a few years now. We were excited about the idea of creating, around the platform, a Finnish ecosystem where service providers can effectively offer and investors and their portfolio companies can buy different types of expert services,” says Senior Vice President Tarja Tyni from Mandatum Life’s Corporate Customers and Private Wealth Management unit.

The new service will be launched in stages. The investors’ tool is a complete product and will be immediately available to customers. The ecosystem being developed around it will be built during 2020. Leading experts from different sectors who wish to be active participants in this interesting segment will be invited to join the ecosystem as service providers.
