Viewing and managing policy information

The most convenient way to manage your insurance and policy matters as well as matters related to personnel funds is on our Web Service.

By selecting Policies from the Web Service, you can view your insurance, policy or fund unit information and the payments that have been made.

Changing a beneficiary

When you wish to change the beneficiary of your insurance, first select Policies and then the required policy.

  • When you have selected the correct policy, you will see the Insurances and beneficiaries tab in the policy information.
  • Press the Change beneficiary button in the bottom right-hand corner of the page in order to change the beneficiaries of your insurances. The change in beneficiary will become valid once it has been delivered to the insurance company in writing.

If your policy information does not have the ‘Insurances and beneficiaries’ tab, make the change using the electronic PDF form on the Web Service. In that case, select the policy’s Changes tab and then Change of beneficiary. Fill in the PDF document that opens up and send it to us at Mandatum Life either attached to an online message or by post to the address:

Changes to the pension period

It is possible to change the start date of pension in some cases, if the pension payments have not yet begun.

If you want to change your pension period, you can send a free-form message in the Web Service.

Termination of the insurance

Insurance policies must be terminated in writing. You can do this by sending us a free-form message via our Web Service. Select Policies, select the policy that you wish to terminate and then select the Changes tab. Select Withdraw savings and fill in the form that opens up.

You can also submit notice of termination in a message. Select Message and New message from the Web Service’s top menu. In the message, indicate the policy that is being terminated, as well as the date when you want the policy to end. If you are terminating a savings or investment insurance policy, also include your account number in the message. It is a good idea to include your account number also when terminating a risk insurance policy, in case an insurance payment is to be returned.

Termination of voluntary pension insurance

Leaving the personnel fund

Memberships in personnel funds are automatically formed based on an employment relationship and employees cannot decide to exit from the fund.

Certificates of insurance

If you require a certificate of insurance, send us a message through our Web Service. Messages can be found in the menu at the top of the page. Include the name of the insured and the insurance policy number in the message or select your insurance policy from the list.
