Mandatum Life and Kaleva Mutual Insurance Company are making a donation again this Christmas to support efforts to promote a better future. The recipient of the Christmas donation was chosen by our personnel.
We are supporting good deeds with a donation of altogether 15,000 euros to the We Foundation. The We Foundation was founded in 2015 to promote inclusion and equality among children and adolescents. The Foundation believes in the power of technology and games as a tool for driving societal change and engagement.
The Foundation’s operations in Finland encompass a network of community houses operating in regions and neighbourhoods that have a great need for work that promotes inclusion and equality. The We House is an open community space, a physical and digital “living room” that is open to everyone and which offers meaningful activities and services to the area’s children, adolescents and families.
“The current extraordinary circumstances have led to an increased need for meaningful activities and community,” says Annastiina Salminen, CEO of the We Foundation. “The donation will be used to help the foundation’s regional We House operations.”
The money set aside for Mandatum Life Asset Management’s Christmas gifts is being donated this year to Hope ry to help low-income families.
