Trader’s attractive equity savings account pricing released

20.12.2019

Saxo Bank’s equity savings account pricing has been released. The prices are very competitive, i.e. the same as Saxo Bank’s Trader securities trading service.

Opening an equity savings account (ESA) and custodial services for securities in the Trader securities trading service are free of charge. Trader’s regular brokerage fees are charged for the trading services. There are three pricing categories, and they are based on the quantity of transactions during the preceding month and on the combined value of the assets in the Trader service.

“As an added benefit, we will offer our customers who open an ESA by the end of January access to the best price category until the end of March 2020, not to mention a very competitive bonus, which we will announce next. The opportunity for ESA trading will open up in January,” says Niklas Odenwall, Vice President.

Both Finnish and foreign exchange-listed equities can be traded through a Trader equity savings account. Prices in the best price category are 0.03% – 0.05% of the value of the trade, or a minimum of EUR 3–5 per trade.

“Trader’s geographical investment selection is significantly broader than other ESA providers and that offers investors a sensible diversification opportunity, which should be taken into account. In addition, our pricing model is truly competitive for an equity savings account. The price-category benefits extend to all of the customer’s Trader portfolios – both ESAs and book-entry accounts,” says Odenwall.
