Mandatum Life’s Institutional Wealth Management has grown its business in both Finland and the other Nordic countries. To further boost the growth, Mandatum Life is reinforcing its Nordic sales by hiring a sales director for Sweden. Lars Staffansson, B.Sc., CFA, will join the Nordic Institutional Sales team on 7 August and report to Head of Nordic Sales Claes Siegfrids.
Taneli Törmänen, MSc (Econ.), CFA, has been appointed Head of Institutional Wealth Management for Finland. They both report to Lauri Vaittinen, Senior Vice President, Investment Solutions.
“Strengthening investment sales in Sweden in particular is quite a logical step for us, since our Group holds a strong position as an institutional investor in the Nordic countries. In recent years, we have introduced to the market a broad range of investment objects that appeal to institutional customers in all asset classes. These appointments will support our opportunities to boost our growth in the Nordic markets in a customer segment that is very important to us,” Vaittinen comments.
Siegfrids and Törmänen previously worked in Mandatum Life’s Institutional Wealth Management unit. Staffansson joins the company from Didner & Gerge Fonder.
