Mandatum Asset Management Ltd has acquired the shares of Trevian Funds AIFM Ltd through a transaction that closed on 2 September 2021. Mandatum AM AIFM Ltd. will be the new name of the company, which manages alternative funds and is licensed by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority. As a result of the transaction, Mandatum Asset Management Group’s real estate team will grow by 15 real estate professionals and its assets under management will increase by more than EUR 300 million.
Emilia Riikonen has been appointed as the CEO of Mandatum AM AIFM Ltd and Risto Aro has been appointed as its Head of Real Estate Investments.

The real estate fund managed by Mandatum AM AIFM acquires properties that require real estate expertise and active management in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area and in Finland’s regional growth centres. All of the fund’s investments place a special emphasis on sustainability.
