Mandatum Life sponsors cultural and sporting events according to decisions made on an annual basis, and also makes donations to charities.
Mandatum Life may also sponsor education and training activities, and is involved in various fairs and seminars.

As one of Levi's six Official Partners, Mandatum Life is visible in the marketing communications and many of the operations of this activity resort based in the Finnish fells. Levi seemed the ideal partner for Mandatum Life, which seeks to feature in its customers lives wherever they seek recreation.

Roope Kakko
Mandatum Life has concluded a sponsorship agreement with golfer Roope Kakko. We want to help enable this promising youngster's journey to the top, providing him with support in achieving his goals. We see Roope as one of Finnish golf's future stars.

Mandatum Life Helsinki–Tallinn Race

The Mandatum Life Helsinki–Tallinn Race, Finland's largest offshore sailing competition, was held for the 19th time on 19–20 August 2011. Next competition takes place on 17-18 August 2012.

Having established itself as a key offshore race, the Helsinki–Tallinn Race attracts close to 200 participating boats every year. The race has strong traditions, with firm faith in the future of sailing. A fine manifestation of team spirit, the race brings together both family and corporate sailors, two beautiful cities and Baltic Sea countries, and a willingness to help.

The competition is an exciting night sail: it starts on a Friday evening from Helsinki, on the southern side of Lauttasaari, and the finishing line is reached on Saturday morning in the Pirita Sailing Centre in Tallinn. The racing classes are LYS, Business LYS, estimated LYS ('Arvio LYS'), ORC Club 1, 2 and 3 and IRC.

Traditionally, the race supports the Tallinn Children's Hospital (Tallinna Lastehaigla). Part of everyone's entry fee is donated to the hospital, with business yachts contributing a higher share than other participants. Donation amount of 10 000 euro in 2011 set an all-time high.

The Aalto University School of Economics
Mandatum Life and the Aalto University School of Economics have signed a three-year partnership agreement.
The purpose of this agreement is to ensure strong, long-term cooperation in the fields of education, research, recruitment and lifelong learning.

As part of this partnership agreement, two lecture halls at the Töölö campus are named after Mandatum Life: Your Money and Your Life.
